Episode 221 features an up-and-coming Dutch DJ and Producer by the name of Flits. Focused on dark grooves, paired with an intense hypnotic energy, Flits has found a sound all his own, which he masterfully shares with his audiences. Recently Flits played ADE in Amsterdam, showing that his career is definitely moving in the right direction.

Juri has become a prolific artist, releasing music across multiple labels including Be As One Imprint, Quartz Rec., and our own Frenzy Recordings with his killer track 'Harsel'. As a skilled he is as a producer, as skilled he is as a DJ, providing the listener complex, layered compositions to keep you on the edge of your seat. My next guest on Yax Invites is Alberto Tolo, an Italian DJ and Producer from Padua.

Born in 1990, Alberto started making and playing his own music in the early 2000s and in 2006 he released his first EP and never stopped. In early 2010, Alberto released his first major EP on a very big label called SCI+ TEC which was followed by a second one a few years later.

After his experience on minimal techno, he decided to move into a more raw sound with the first release on Kaiserdisco's label KD RAW. This release changed his vision of music forever and kicked off his personal journey on hardgroove, inspired by tracks of which he listened to in his youth during the early 2000's releasing tracks on underground techno collectives such as Different Sounds, Reflekt and in his own signature ALT, and finally on the mighty BCCO.

Alberto never left the art of DJing and he continued to carry on both sides so it is a pleasure to have him on the series.

Located in the heart of berlin at Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain, Lokschuppen is well known for its friendly and diverse atmosphere.
We value diversity and inclusion, actively promoting a respectful and supportive community. With a diverse program featuring live music, DJ sets, performances and art installations, we aim to create a space for creative minds from around the world. Also known as Suicide Club Berlin in the past, the club opened its doors in 1994, becoming a cornerstone of Berlin‘s techno scene. Named after the influential band „Suicide,“ it hosted DJs like DJ Hell and Ellen Allien. Despite closure in 1999 due to gentrification,
it found new homes, notably at RAW-Gelände in 2009, where it continues to flourish. Since 2024 the club is rebranded as Lokschuppen Berlin.
The club is known for hosting various local collectives that form the club‘s unique character and diverse crowd. From Formula 90 to Pfandidos, Devoted, and Gabber Industries Berlin, these collectives infuse our venue with a variety of genres, ranging from groove to trance, hardtechno, hardcore, and house. we welcomed many well known techno legends such as DJ Rush and Ellen Allien, but also raising stars like Brutalismus3000, MCR-T, Klangkünstler and many more. Since 2018, Chantal‘s House of Shame has found a new home at Lokschuppen, well known for its legendary queer parties featuring (drag)-performances and a sex-positive atmosphere.

Institution for stimulating, open-minded and safe parties with quality techno music as a foundation.
