I usually don't have much to say about my mixes and this time is no different. It's music from the softer spectrum of electronic dance music (I hate that this term is usually used to describe a very specific genre)recorded on a rainy midweek afternoon. I think it'll speak for itself if you allow it to do so.

The pandemic, a few years ago, brought a lot of misery but also an eruption of creativity on Soundcloud in the genre I’m most interested in, electronic music. A lot of the artists were completely new to me. One of the biggest discoveries was a Swedish producer called Martin Jarl. To me he really stood out because of the warmth and emotional depth of his tracks, very rare in electronic music because, well, the music is after all electronic. I expected it would take Martin - who turned out to be a really nice guy by the way - not too long to find a large audience. But nothing in the music business is easy these days, no matter how talented you are. Stlll, I think Martin Jarl should be a household name. Judge for yourself.
