A song about being emotional in an unemotional world.

The message I’m trying to convey with this song is that it can be difficult to be emotional without “ruining” others perception of you, that it’s not considered “normal”, or maybe you were taught not to express emotions because it’s too messy. You can’t be emotional in a “watercolor world” because the painting, the image, gets ruined. There’s an aspect about suppressing emotions to the point that there’s no choice but for everything to be ruined. Aka it’s not healthy to not express emotions. The “paint” itself could have been something you put on yourself, but more often than not, it was put on us by other people or “societal norms.”
