MAJERDA is not just a name, it is a cultural and musical project that connects the peoples of North Africa. Majerda is the name of a river that connects Tunisia to Algeria, which supplies water to the inhabitants of North Africa and from here the idea was inspired by the interdependence of peoples, so three songs were chosen from the ancient folklore of these peoples, Sidi Mansour symbolizes my sfaxien culture of my native Tunisia, and Ligh ezzaman symbolizes the Berbers who are in Algeria and Morocco, and Habibi hbaytou symbolizes Mauritania and the people of the Sahara.
