Science Fiction is Christian McBride's take on 70's television and movie theme songs. This composition features solos from Todd Bashore on alto sax and Xavier Davis on piano.

This show was mixed on a Yamaha CL5 using the 2 track usb recorder onboard the console. The Lewitt DTP Beat Kit Pro 7 microphone package was used on the drums and DPA 4099s on piano. The saxophones were captured by Sennheiser 421s, Electro Voice RE20 on bass and Shure 57s on trumpet and trombone.

Fela Davis is a front of house and monitor engineer based out of New York City. She’s a graduate of Full Sail University and has over a decade of experience in live sound. Her past experiences includes working for industry power houses Clair Wireless and House of Blues. While at Clair Wireless, Fela gained extensive knowledge of in ear monitors and wireless microphones while prepping gear for network and cable television shows like Good Morning America Summer Series, The Colbert Report and The Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade. 
 
The list of award winning artist that Fela has mixed front of house or monitors for includes Arturo Sandoval, KRS One, Ali Shaheed Muhammad(member A Tribe Called Quest), Chuck Mangione and many more. When she's not working as a freelance engineer in NYC, she’s front of house engineer for the 3-time Grammy award winning jazz artist Christian McBride.
