Notably, music is not foreign to Leanne because she was born with an intrinsic melodic distinctive.  In fact, she celebrates a compelling music heritage. Her local talents can be traced back to the churches of Inkster, Michigan where the sanctuaries were filled with the flavor of traditional songs of the late, Reverend James Cleveland and Evangelist Shirley Caesar.  These two legendary gospel greats were strong influences in her life and career choices.  Even when she was 15, she sang with the Southwestern Michigan State Choir as a lead singer under the direction of the late Mattie Moss Clark.  During this time, Leanne was requested to sing background vocals on numerous occasions with the most influenced legendary gospel greats, Reverend James Cleveland and Evangelist Shirley Caesar. 

She is an energetic and magnificent performer in every sense of the word!  She never falls short of mesmerizing and exciting her audiences with her compelling contralto vocals that resound with joy and vibrant power.  The audiences merely clap their hands and pat their feet.  Leanne’s music and lyrics possess a distinct quality that is spontaneous and always extraordinary.  She sings with such invigorating power that without warning the window to your soul gently opens.  Unquestionably, Leanne’s performances and vocal talents are an excellent demonstration of the healing power of music.  She also displays vast ingenuity and sheer vitality that is uniquely Leanne. 

Most of all, her talents are innovative and her exceptionality is her uncompromising commitment to the love of God and music.  Significantly, Leanne’s vocal qualities encompass an exceptional abundance of inspiration and rhythmic directness with a caliber that is quite profound. However, she did not stop at that project; she did it again with the powerful live CD and DVD in “The Conqueror!”  “The Conqueror” remained on the Billboard charts for an awesome 35 weeks.  This awesome move of God for Leanne resulted in her nomination for a Stellar Award in the first round and extensive travel across the United States performing for mega churches, conferences and workshops. 

To whom much is given much is required.  Leanne also coordinated and sang background on Vickie Winans’ 2006, “Woman 2 Woman” live CD & DVD recording.  She recently completed a mini tour with Evelyn Turrentine-Agee.  There’s still more, she recorded a live CD and DVD with current Pastor Bishop Larry D. Trotter.  The woman is just full of energy and blessed with a gift which keeps on giving.
