For episode 58 we present AELVA K is a DJ and upcoming producer from Malmö, Sweden, who has been setting dance floors on fire at multiple events in the Malmö and Copenhagen areas with her energetic melodic style. Starting professionally around two years ago, she has quickly gained ground around her area and has been seen performing at well-known festivals and clubs in Sweden and Denmark. Also, last year, she made her debut at the famous Amsterdam Dance Event and Berlin Dance Event. She has shared the stage with afterlife signed artists like Glowal & Space Motion aswell as Peak time artist Beicco and the Drumcode signed Mha Iri.
Lately, she has also proven her skills as a producer, releasing her second EP with the Frankfurt-based record label Aviary Recordings, gaining recognition from famous artists such as Oostil and Mariano Mellino, signalising a bright future ahead.


Interview with Aelva K: 


Q: What made you start DJing? 
A: I started raving in Malmö during a time when there were a lot of underground raves and events, and I realized that I never wanted to leave the dancefloors. The only solution was to start one at home by learning how to DJ!

Q: Describe your style in three words. 
A: Energetic, Melodic, driving. 

Q: Your best set in 2024/2025? 
A: Must be when I closed the Tribunen stage at Karrusel Festival 2024.

Q: Your favorite track right now? 
A: A new techno favourite of mine is definitely Latin Lovers by Monika Kruse

Q: A track you never get tired of? 
A: Can’t Stop’ by Amazingblaze has never failed to make me want to dance.

Q: Where can one find the best falafel in Malmö? 
A: I’m a fan of Falafel Baghdad on Norra Grängesbergsgatan!

Q:  A Malmö DJ you want to highlight? 
A: I would like to give Dahl a shoutout. Great producer and DJ.
