The Shimmering
On the violet-blue world of Xynestra-9, every orbital cycle brings the season known only as The Shimmering. During this time, the twin suns align, saturating the forests in waves of bioluminescent light. It is said that the planet’s inhabitants — crystalline-skinned beings attuned to rhythm and resonance — enter a state of cosmic courtship, communicating through low-frequency bass pulses rather than words.

The track captures that moment:

Funk-heavy jungle breaks as heartbeat accelerations

Alien percussion arrays echoing across the glimmering valleys

Bass frequencies entwining like dancers beneath the twin moons

For those who hear it on Earth, The Shimmering isn’t just music — it’s a love song between galaxies, a mating call broadcast through jungle drums and subsonic frequencies to any species capable of feeling rhythm in their bones.

🌟Xenobungalism: The Intergalactic Bungalist Frontier🌟

If Bungalism is the Rebirth of Jungle, then Xenobungalism is the First Contact. It begins with 1993–1995 jungle DNA — chopped breaks, rolling basslines, ritual percussion — then splices it with sound sources that don’t exist on Earth:

Hallucinated breakbeats folding time signatures in impossible geometries

Speculative instruments made from crystal, plasma, or quantum pressure waves

Alien fauna rhythms — cephalopod bass trumpets, insectoid percussion, telepathic dolphin choirs, creatures beating subsonic warning signals on hollow asteroid shells

The dancefloor becomes off-world terrain:

Raves in bioluminescent swamps under three moons

Bass ceremonies led by Octophantelepi elders

Wobblefish tribes summoning tidal drops with spectral drums

Xenobungalism rejects human minimalism and keeps the bright, playful, skankable spirit of Bungalism alive — but filtered through extraterrestrial physics. Delays loop through wormholes, Doppler sweeps bend spacetime, and every drop feels like the gravitational pull of a black hole made of funk.

It’s jungle when the rainforest itself has been abducted, mutated, and turned into a galactic breakbeat ecosystem.

Perspective:R - What Is Was

In this second instalment on the recently re-launched C4C Limited, we welcome Kursiva, alongside the vocal talents of Hijak MC and the production talents of Transforma.

Provoke' takes on the traditional neuro-infused roller but with Hijak MC's signature vocals. With craftily distorted bass and rolling drum patterns, Kursiva slowly begins to build his track layer on layer, creating a cascading monster. Bouncing between breaks, Hijak MC takes you deep into a dark and dirty world, one that forces the listener to pay attention.

Juggernaut' gradually moves itself forward on cranking drum patterns and slowly creeping synths cutting through the mix, edging out its atmospherics and then crashing forward on its grating snare. Pounding warped aquatic sub undertones rattle each beat, resulting in you becoming more tightly gripped with every sound and layer. This beast of a collaboration between Kursiva and Transforma demonstrates C4C's contemporary standards and elevated understanding of the realm they reign over.

Within the gaps in the cosmos and spread out amongst the stars exists a single force, one as equally integral to the worlds it envelopes as the very matter of which they are made up as it is antithetical to their existence. In its base state it is inert, idling within the dark corners of the universe with unparalleled destructive potential It does not rest alone within these far reaches of the universe however, for therein further lurk imperceptible beings capable of binding its discrete yet devastating power into weapons capable of sundering entire worlds. Though few of their ilk remain, such beings are driven by inhuman intentions, with an unending hunger for the destruction borne of their malevolent craft. Their machinations can only be glimpsed through those most frightening of words, and their desires can only bring about the most cataclysmic of events. Naught but for one tale of their kind remains and it is not one told lightly, for the fear of attracting their attention comes at its every telling.

It was once that there was a sister planet to our world, inhabited by a people much like us. Through manipulation of that same cosmic force, we had created gateways between our worlds, and traded often in the unique resources of which each planet possessed. The civilizations of both worlds thrived in this ancient time, as each learned and shared with the other through their unique interconnectedness. Yet all of this was watched from afar by pairs of jealous eyes, set within heads that wished not to see others learn the secrets of their craft. Thus it was on that fateful day when the moon came before the sun that all amongst both worlds beheld a terrible sight. Towering within the void that separated them was an indescribable creature that bellowed a single phrase: one world would end, one would be saved, and their link would never be again. Then in an instant upon our sister world came its fury, rending it to pieces as though wielding in its hand the LOBZIK which you know. In mere moments the link had been severed by the creature’s cataclysmic power, and in the sky above lay the fragments of the world to which it had once led. With the showing of the sun the creature was suddenly gone, it’s message made clear by what it had done. Thus it is that I tell this story with care, wary that I am of the hand which brought the LOBZIK to bear.
