Bio 

East London born and Essex raised producer & dj Josh Smith has been producing music and djing since 2016.

Early years in discovering electronic music his style and taste was darker and faster paced with Tech-House and Techno being the first real influence and gateway into the underground scene.

Josh would go onto release his first EP ‘Melodic Grooves’ with Antarctic Records the same year of 2016.

In more recent years Josh has gravitated towards more of the Rominimal and Microhouse sound. Definitely favouring the eastern european intimate tones and energies.

Josh has gone onto release records with The Lab Records, Whoystro Ltd, Tanapa Records, Microgarden Lab, and Miaw to name a few.

In 2021 he secured his first residency with the up and coming brand ‘Select Sounds’ this is currently where you can catch him showcasing his sound and mixing abilities.

Dubphone started in 2007 releasing his first works on labels as Monique Musique and Baile Musik and through years he received the support of Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Timo Maas, tINI, a:rpia:r, Maceo Plex, Blond:ish, Richie Hawtin, Bill Patrick. In the beginning he was based in Bucharest having the opportunity to play in Studio Martin or Silver Afterhours alongside big names in the scene. In 2014 he moved in Valencia then Barcelona and he debuted in Ibiza playing for Carl Cox at Space Ibiza in 2014. Dubphone was nominated by Nights.ro Awards the best Romanian portal of electronic music for the following categories: Best Romanian DJ, Best Romanian Production, Best Radio Podcast and Best Breakthrough artist in 2012, 2013, 2014. Didn’t took long and his energetic sets, full of colour and hypnotic deep techno vibes brought him to a higher level. His first international gig was Castello Electronica Festival in Mannheim alongside Egbert, Pascal FEOS, Markus Fix followed by Sonar Off debut alongside Oxia, Blondish, Igor Vicente, Nicolas Masseyef in Barcelona. You don't know who we are? We will tell you!

Felipe & gusto is a DJ-Duo from Berne (Switzerland). We are playing music for over 10 years now. The years before we started this B2B project, we spent many nights out on the dance floors all over the world and just enjoyed listening and dancing to the music. But then we wanted to know what it means to be a DJ.  Is it an easy job? The answer is: No, its not, not if you want to do more than just push one single button.

So, what is important to us? 

When playing a set, our goal is alway to take you on a musical journey. It's not just about entertaining the crowd. Our job is to play music that not everyone has access to. We want to show that there is more than the playlists of radio stations or the beatport charts. There are so many talented producers out there, but sometimes those are "hidden champions". And thats what we are looking for. In other words: We are the so called "music diggers". We spend hours in record-shops and on digital-platforms to find music that has one special character: G R O O V E! I  It's not a certain genre, its not just deep or tech house, i think every kind of music genre knows tracks which have that groove. Groove is a feeling, not a genre.
When we mix, we do it with passion and love. This is what - in our view - makes us different. We play music that we love and we try to show the crowd, why we love it so much! Because its the best feeling in the world - its easy :).

It's important to us that we deliver quality output, meaning we try to play music that fits into the location, the playtime, the crowd..... You can feel this variation in our mixes. 

We already had the chance to share the desk with many inspiring DJ's like Neverdogs, Lauren Lo Sung, Enzo Siragusa,, Samu L, Medu, Dani Rivas, Nick Curly, Chris Stussy, Michael James, The Willers Brothers and many more...

We hope there is more to come.
