This week's Monday mix will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. It's a little funkier, a little smoother and contains a whole lot of soul. 
Oh yes.
Amsterdam's Mr Mendel has perfected the art of modernising the classics with his organic approach to mixing and editing. It was quite a switch from Hip-Hop to Soul, Disco and Afro music but we're sure as hell glad he made it. You can catch Mr Mendel spinning some sexy tunes at a number of Amsterdam's finest nights such as I Love Vinyl, Wicked Jazz Sounds and Doka, plus he also curates the Tropical mix for music discovery channel 22Tracks Amsterdam. He'll be making an appearance at Southport Weekender early this May so head on over if you want to get down to some funky grooves.

We booked @RedGreg at Mona for the first time in July 2010 and have never looked back since, bringing him back to Mona three times since, such has been the success of his dj sets with the Mona crowd. We've had a few screams from the dancefloor for the UK disco don and dedicated vinyl digger to come back. So here he is again at Mona in July 2016.

Chicago's Tone B drops by with a magic box of 45s from his personal collection for a 1 hour broadcast. Expect a mix of unheard gospel, disco and African songs, very well put together. 

Anthony Fields aka Tone B. Nimble, has been collecting records for over 30 years. He started in the mid-1980’s as a DJ spinning House, Disco, and Italo in Chicago’s underground scene, and he is famous for making disco edits together with  Al Bumz under the Al Tone alias. We can only imagine the amazing collection he's build. 

This is the sixth recording in a series of (themed) Rush Hour in-store broadcasts, recorded on March 21th, 2018. After a live broadcast to Facebook, the music lands on Soundcloud for playback.

Recorded LIVE from my secret guest appearance at the "You're A Melody" party in #London back on Sunday, June 10th!! What a magical experience this was. 🎶🔥 Unfortunately the recorder stopped short before the set ended...but you still get a good 3 hours and 20 mins of jams to enjoy!! Much thanks to those that danced from the very first record to the last, and everyone in-between! Hope to do this again someday!! Recorded "LIVE" on Easter Sunday, 2019 - Here's a nice long (just under 5 hours) taste from what was a beautiful 8 hour journey of sensational music curated on the fly by the super combo of GE-OLOGY and RED GREG (both amazing in their own right), whose individual and combined music knowledge, chemistry, insane record collections, and masterful DJ skills WOW'd the Selectors Stage audience at DEKMANTEL a few years ago when they first paired up to play back-to-back. Ever since, it's been a treat to see these guys team up on a few more occasions...and the 6th birthday celebration for the FEVER 105 crew was no exception! Pure musical bliss....enjoy!

Crown Ruler Mix # 15 - DJ Red Greg

Hey. Like everyone at the moment I have been spending a lot of time at home, so decided to do a mix (which doesn't happen very often for various reasons). With a vague idea of what direction I wanted to take, and after playing around and selecting lot's of different records and exploring various themes, a pattern began to emerge.
So here is the result, a quick mix with a decidedly strong Brit Funk vibe. I enjoyed the feel-good nature of the tracks, something we could all do with under the current conditions.
Made using two Technics 1200 turntables, a Bozak AP2 mixer and a stack of well loved vinyl.
