A diverse mixture of original 80´s gay club vinyl’s, kitschy 80`s inspired disco tunes, resounding new house and disco records and some rarities poured into an extravagant, uplifting, and varying set. A set mixed exclusively with vinyl’s, love and affection for an indeed diverse and exceptional crowd on this special day for the LGBTQIA+ community in Augsburg. Thanks to everybody for joining us and making this night such a great event.

The selection is also a homage to the one and only Patrick Cowley, one of the first, in my opinion best and famous producer of HI-NRG Disco music and a DJ in the early 80`s San Francisco gay club scene, known for his outstanding creativity using synthesizers like no one before and spreading for example the sixteenth note sequencer style throughout disco music. At that time, he produced a lot of records together with “Sylvester” a transvestite which is also part of the set with a house remix of “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)”. In the set, multiple tracks of Patrick Cowley are included like “Mind Warp” (released by Megatone Records in 1982 on the eponymous album), “Megatron Man” (released by Megatone Records in 1981 on the eponymous album) and a track he co-produced together with Le Jete in 1982 called “Le Cage Aux Folles” which was released 1983.
