For Respekt 164, we welcome back two of our favourite heavy-hitters: Skober and Yan Oxygen. This time working in concert to create the mesmerising 'Lost in Dreams', the Ukrainian duo have melded hints of late-90s progressive melody with a super-fresh techno undercarriage to create something quite unique. The remix comes courtesy of Belgian duo Joyhauser, who wind up the toughness and stretch out the break, before slamming us with some nasty synth blasts. To complement the lead track, Skober goes solo on the acid and vocal driven 'I Wanna See'.

Alan Fitzpatrick keeps moving from strength to strength with his ‘We Are The Brave’ imprint. Following on from their successful summer, the label get back to their underground roots as we enter the club season. Next up we’ve got two deep, ominous rollers from Portsmouth lad ‘A.S.H’. 

Acid tinged 'Kiss' sets the deep moody tone for the record, where colossal kick drums ride along with a delicate, yet impressive array of synths and arpeggios drift over the top. 'Kiss' is remarkably dreamy at the same time as being immersive and full-bodied, the lead synth rips through the speakers and the drops bring the sensations needed for the club.

'Reactor' sets off similarly, but soon breaks off into a bright arpeggiated lead synth line that reverberates through the track right up to the drop. 'Reactor' is then interrupted by a fierce and brooding synth lead! Big drums take control of your feet while the synths take your ears for a ride and the result is a beautifully hard, melodic techno wonder!

In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
