Felix Reichelt drops an intoxicating peak time techno single via his record label, Volume Berlin Records, which has been made in collaboration with Smartsin.

A stalwart of Berlin's underground techno scene, Felix Reichelt has frequented the DJ booth at many of the city's most prestigious nightclubs. His exhilarating style is a hedonistic fusion of hard-hitting drums, powerful synths, and captivating vocal samples. This style is expressed in both his DJ sets and productions. Alongside music released through his own record label, Felix Reichelt has also showcased his talent via other respected outlets including Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain, The YellowHead's Reload, and Simina Grigoriu's Kuukou.

Collaborating on this release, Smartsin is another German artist from Hamburg, and he is back on Volume Berlin Records after contributing a remix to the label in 2024. He has also featured on the likes of Armada, and has an uplifting style that combines driving energy with boisterous personality.

"Ecstasy" is the solo original track on this release, and it opens with a hammering kick drum underlined by a throbbing bassline. Dark atmospherics and tense pads complement a spellbinding vocal about the intoxicating capabilities of music, and the breakdown builds suspense before the percussion slams back in to deliver a peak time moment of heightened intensity.

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
