Dance Warm Up @ E.Dance COLOGNE

This special set was Recorded on Sunday Dance Church @AWAKE life centre in Uvita, Costa Rica.

Its been by far my favorite and also most expansive location for me as a Dj and facilitator. Having the support and energy of a solid E.Dance community is truly amazing and has allowed me to grow in my music selection, presence and confidence.

In this  specific set i wanted to invite some more dark polarity and release into the spectrum of the music. This has been a topic I am working on constantly and many are encouraging to bring more darkness and primal, wild energy into the sets.

I had a great time djing another dance set at awake this september. 

The theme of this E.Dance became "perfectly imperfect" while i was playing. As you will hear there were a couple of hickups which ended up sparking a very rich sharing in the closing circle on the topic of perfection!

Im using this opportunity to share that what truly matters to me is to give it my best, and let go of the end result!

The community had a great time and we all agreed that perfect is not the goal, but excellence, meaning giving it your best!

I curated this playlist to bring a mix of shamanic and ecstatic vibes for this beautiful gathering around the fire.

The feminine spirit was very present for me during the mix and on the dancefloor. Together with the rain, it felt appropriate to bring in lots of feminine vocals.

Intimate rainy season in Costa Rica gives an opportunity to nourish and connect within the community and that's exactly how i felt.

A meditative soundtrack made in the flow. Improvisational guitar, no fixed structure, just like the ocean.

I used "Drone by Sine Rider" in this track.

Had the pleasure to Dj a sweet warm up set for our event at the magical butterfly dome in Canaan, Chirripo. This was another special event, filmed and recorded together with my brother Sariel Orenda & his  partner Dimana, for their special guitar and poetry experience.

It was also during the full moon and eclipse happening which made it extra special!

"Amma Taye" is a Hindi phrase, often used in devotional contexts, meaning "Oh Mother, dear Divine Mother" or "O Mother, Mother, dear Divine Mother". It's a respectful and loving way to address the divine mother, often referring to the supreme goddess of the universe or the primal power.

With great joy and gratitude I share my Dance set from the June Connectival Gathering in Saarland, Germany !

An incredible experience with  incredible people in a sweet and intimate setting in nature! It was a very fun dance set infused with world beats, shamanic and tribal rythms and lots of love!

With the theme of "primal presence, primal body" it was very inspiring to weave in as many primal and ancestral rythms and tunes as possible!

ECSTATIC DANCE @Finca Camino Nuevo (Monteverde) Part1

This journey was passionately selected by Dani, sharing tunes she grew up to and even her mother danced to! From local Costa Rican "cumbia ancestral" to Santana and traditional folk music, there is a bit of everything in this set!
We had the pleasure of sharing it at the magical HOME farm and dance together with cacao, awakening our ecstatic selves and connecting with a community of amazing individuals in a 2 day retreat, creating some colaboration with the Finca Morpho Crew.

Felix is a medicine musician, Ecstatic Dance DJ and multi instrumentalist who is passionate about sharing the transformational power, that music holds, with his listeners.
