Sisyphos and the mighty Dampfer floor – so this is how it feels after all…

Playing there meant THE WORLD to me. After 10 years of attending this place as a guest, it felt very special, to be entrusted to steer this powerful Steamship from behind the decks. To be honest, it wasn't easy. I felt so insecure, fragile and weak in the beginning like I haven’t in a very long while. It took quite some time until I could let go and trust myself (and the crowd). But then, this happened: tears. I had tears of gratitude, joy and overwhelm in my eyes. That’s a first for me in a set… For the club and many guests, this was just a regular, not particularly spectacular set like many others. For me, it was an unforgettable moment. Lifetime, I swear…

(Sorry for the somewhat mediocre sound quality - for whatever reason, my recording device just recorded half of the line in, so it’s basically mono split in two. Ambient sound recording helped to even that out a little but it’s still not great sound quality)
