Felix Gabriel’s Ethereal EP takes the listener through an out of this world and ethereal experience as its songs recount the story of Felix as he learned the importance of self-love over validation from others. It all starts with him “Falling” for someone who was already falling for someone else and struggles to realize that maybe they would be “Better Off” as staying friends and nothing more. In “Run” and “Heartsick (Nostalgia)” Felix loses his confidence and regretfully reminisces on how he didn’t tell the person he fell for how he felt before it was too late. 

The EP takes a turn at this point as the music gets more intense with “Tides” where Felix begins to come to terms with his situation as he finally found happiness in himself and his music. Ethereal ends with “The Journey” and “Revelation”, two tracks which bring a heartfelt confession of the struggle that came before the resolve in order for him to find true happiness. Felix’s goal with this EP is to connect with anybody struggling with self love. As he says in “Tides”, Felix plans to show the listener the high tides at night, in other words, he will guide them to see the light at the end of the tunnel that they might think is unlikely/impossible to exist.
