A decade on from his debut release, one of Romania's finest cultural exports returns to his favourite stomping ground with a trans- mission that showcases variety, technical skill and an intimate understanding of the dynamics of the floor.

The stripped-down, moody menace of 'The Swindle' kicks things off, dancing semi- quavers panning left and right, a mysterious male voice incanting. A bass synth motif carries the tune to a climax before its buoyant, trancey conclusion. At all times, elements unfold organically, carrying the listener away.

'Rotate' casts a busier, jacking vibe, its analogue synth cycles pinging against each other. Glimmering layers of sound create an endlessly immersive, deadly deep groove.

'Feed Me' is slower, slinkier and rougher in equal measure. The sustained synths create a gliding sensation, the male vocal first mellifluous and sung then husky and spoken.

'Chance' is a shuffling, fizzing deep house groove, precision-tooled for the dance- floor. "Let it take control" urges a male voice. Sound advice for this deliciously hypnotic groove.

Hot on the heels of his much-praised debut 'Everything Is All You Have', Tim Engelhardt delivers the Enigmatism EP, an equally im- pressive selection of bold, direct and melodically upfront tech house.

The title track - destined to find a home in many a DJ box - begins in relatively unassuming fashion before melodic surges bring it to life. Massive major chords conjure up strobes and hands in the air - a peaktime vibe that's boosted in the final third by the brightest of dancing synth motifs.

'Best Night In Cologne' is just as melodic - a lilting groove bedecked with playful percussive touches. Teeming with interesting tones and textures, it's the sound of a restless musical intelligence. It's daytime counterpart - the second part of a homage to his adopted city - boasts a ping-ponging synth line that hooks the synapses before the tune opens out into a vast panorama.

'Muse' rounds things off in an abstract, experimental style: meditative keyboard chords are pieced together over a bed of fragmented bass inflections - a meditation for the morning after or a hazy, lazy afternoon.

In the world of Techno, too often stands a tall separation wall between careful minimalism and energetic big floor materials. Very few artists are able to transcend this definition, combining together elements from both sub genres. In this sense, Alberto Ruiz's new stellar release on Transmit is a school for any producer out there. A powerful insertion of drum rides onto a merciless bassline, padded with metal sounding chimes, taking you deep underwater with "Submarino". The second track, "Sustained", lets you breath. It is developing as a story and reaches its tension-loaded peak towards the end. Both bound to often echo in your ears this winter.

Over the years Deeperfect was home to some of the biggest techno producers in the world. However, Stefano Nofernini's label always understood that an important role of any big label is to nurture and support new talent out there. Soldier Fly EP is an amazing example to how the label does this. This release takes the promising female duo "ME & Her", known for its colorful style, and empowers it with two giants from different spectrums of the techno scene. The first, Bristol's Dupspeeka made his huge breakthrough with his debut release at Drumcode in early 2015, and the second is Deeperfect's label owner who safely leads the label in its so colorful way. The three original ME & Her tracks are faithful to the duo's style: a beautiful combination of dominant synths and percussion elements. The remixes attempt to take the original melodic creations and add the dance floor drive that both Dubspeeka and Nofernini, yet, without harming the unique style of the two talented women. The result is yet another "must have" release from Deeperfect.

Kevin Over’s debut Truesoul release, Broken Jam EP, is a four track release packed with uplifting tech house beats, loud and defiant basslines and heavy vocals.  Loaded with samples, synths and snares, the four tracks are each colourful in their own way. Expect to be excited by this EP – Over has really excelled himself and this is one not to be missed.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Friend of the label and all-round party starter Philip Bader is on hand for the remix. Cranking the tempo immediately, the German settles into some drum machine-led, rhythm pounding techno. Improvisational FX and bass murmurs lilt across thumping 4/4s and squelchy beats to create a soundscape that is as intoxicating as it is addictive. This boy knows how to rock a dance floor.

Guido Bartoli, a graphic designer, illustrator and visual artist who works from his Pisa base, created the fantastic cover.

Firm label favourites, The Junkies, return to SCI+TEC with their fourth release, bringing another set of heavyweight tracks from their ever expanding armoury. The ‘Living & Giving’ EP sees the Canadian duo deliver a new collection of cuts that exude mystery and suspense whilst still delivering a perfect punch for the dancefloor. The title track kicks things off with its bass pulses and vocal calls before make way for the kaleidoscopic trip of 'Give You More’. Next up is the percussive smog and climbing synth of ‘Smoke City’ before we’re treated to the rampaging rhythms and demonic vocal of ‘Lost CNTRL’. Another perfect sound track from The Junkies… We love it when they do the giving.
