Winston Dub Project, c'est la réunion de deux projets: un hip hop puisé dans les années 90's, où le Patient déchaîne ses vers " qui taillent en pointe comme un tesson de bouteille". Inspired by the African cassette tapes from my father, I started playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. After traveling in different continents, I started experimenting with sounds from all over the world. Where I used to play a bit more uptempo, nowadays I am focussing on a deeper and more atmospheric sound. Blending different genres and tempos is something that is appealing to me. From Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music, everything is possible.
