Purple Shapes is the powerful tandem of Greece’s Dj Wingman and Ekahal. Both well established in the scene, the combination of their creativity results in something to behold. This unstoppable duo has created something unique that can only be described by those who have heard it. An exceptional blend of progressive and psychedelic giving you a tweak of the brain triggered by soft yet intense music. It’s like running at full speed on a cloud: it clears the mind, it’s refreshing, your heart races, it’s dizzying and your legs hurt yet you can’t stop. In 2018, they joined the ranks of Harmonia Records in Greece alongside established artists such as Conwerter, Drip Drop, Ridden, Dj Doc, Balliou to name a few. Their goal is to set fire to dancefloors across the globe and blow the minds of those lucky enough to hear them. Get ready to have your brain scrambled and be left with a smile on your face.

Let´s face it, the summer is shit (at least in Germany), it`s still cold and rainy  and there are almost no festivals around.  

But there is light at the end of the tunnel, as it get`s warmer and some smaller events will happen anyway. 

So let`s get prepared for the dancefloor with this straightforward psytrance mix, including a lot of new tracks from artists around the globe, some alltime bangers and some of my own tracks I created during the covid season.

Abstract Voices (DJ Mix 2021, Sculpted Sounds, BMSS Records)

Esse set foi pensado de uma forma bem especial, cada uma das músicas foram escolhidas de forma a compor uma linda história. 
Na introdução, o objetivo foi trazer um som diferenciado, principalmente por estar fazendo a abertura da festa. Uma track experimental e tranquila caiu como uma luva, trazendo os elementos psicodélicos aos poucos para o público que ainda estava chegando e se situando. Em seguida, mantendo a mesma linha de pensamento, o mais puro Groove, recheado de baixos e synths viajantes pra preparar e transicionar a pista para o mais esperado da noite, o Full On Night, que em seu auge alcança um Psytrance cheio de energia, dançante e dinâmico. Por fim, eu encerro minha apresentação com uma homenagem merecidíssima, tocando a clássica "Into the 4th Dimension" do mestre Space Tribe. 
Essa foi uma viagem que percorreu dos 143 ao 148bpm. 
Agradeço a cada um dos que curtiram meu set de estreia na pista do Trance In Gru no dia 04/09/2021, ele foi preparado para um momento mais que importante. Aos que não estavam por lá, espero que gostem <3

We have a very special guest this time. An amazing DJs and a true Goa kid. Raised in Goa from 1989, Jonas was introduced to Goa trance at a young age. From the age of 13 to 15 (!!!) he played hundreds of Goa parties (Disco Valley, Hill Top, Bamboo Forest, NineBar, Paradiso etc) and was even invited to play at Boom festival (1998) in Portugal and Momra Encentro in Spain. Fast forward 2 decades and Goa Jonas continues to collaborate with some of the Psytrance scene’s top producers whilst playing all over the world and help running some of the main festivals of our culture. Very happy to finally have a mix from him in our mixes series!
