The raga saga is a series I have started to act as a cultural collector of my favorite artists from all over, Each raga is in an array of melodic structures with musical motifs. This beautiful saga comes from Istanbul, Turkey by the ingenious and musically gifted @tolgamaktay

He was born in Istanbul 1977 and started in 1996 to DJ as a professional. He worked in various clubs and private parties in Istanbul then in 2001, he began his music production journey. At first, he started playing tech-house and later on his taste evolved to a more minimal house/tech. In 2014, he signed a contract with KP Recordings incluging Five EPs. In 2017, he began focusing on the production of deep house & downtempo. Later that year, he signed a new contract with Empire Studio Records.In 2018, has worked with Pipe&Pochet & Kosa Records in 2019, Tolga started a new radio program, every Sunday between 22:00/23:00 (GMT+3) "Seaside Temple with Tolga Maktay" at Lounge FM 96.
He also recently played at the Chill-Out Festival 2019.

Shadow work is the process of recognizing and embracing one’s darker side, one of the most important steps towards healing and true balance. For this exploration in the world of shadows I curated these tracks that lie on the more eerie fringe of downtempo and chillrave, and let them organize themselves in this mix combining haunted sounds and varying beat structures that appear to be sharing hidden truths with each other... maybe they will talk to you too.

Born in Europe in the last century, Franssu moved to Montreal, Canada when the millenium was still young. Nobody knows exactly when his taste for moving images and amber spirits pushed him towards electronic music. When he finally succeeded in being able to keep beats in sync, he started to collect sounds working towards the possibility of bewitching the crowd, with a variety of tempos that most consider skewed to the low end of what’s reasonable.
