Glåsbird is an anonymous composer whose albums are the score to imaginary films.
The artist is building a series of works about various geographical locations as well as providing music for film, sound design and remixes.
Their sound contains evident influences from modern classical and ambient music genres and this mix for Deep Breakfast is an epic two hour journey through modern classical composition.
The artwork is provided by Aldona Pivoriene and was taken at the location for the new Glåsbird album out now on the wonderful Whitelabrecs: https://whitelabrecs.bandcamp.com/album/norskfj-r-r
The undulating landscape in the image is one of clear beauty and depicts the traditional instruments used throughout this mix. Whereas the electricity pylons that run through the valley represents the subtle electronic techniques used in many of the selections.
