"Arriba was the beginning of a new creative process for us. It was the first song we composed on the album. We wrote it as a part of an 'exquisite corpse', a surrealist writing exercise, and that's when the three of us started to composing together for the first time, as we often used to compose separately. We united our minds and hearts together, which was a great challenge and a new creative process for us. The song speaks about deconstructing oneself, changing the established ways, and going to new places. It takes about finding ones true self. This song references the ancestral, our roots and our earth."

"Arriba fue la canción que activó un nuevo proceso creativo, fue el primer tema del disco que compusimos, a partir de un 'cadáver exquisito' (ejercicio de escritura surrealista) y así comenzamos a componer las tres juntas, unir las mentes y corazones como un gran desafío para éste nuevo proceso. Habla de deconstruirse, cambiar las formas establecidas, ir hacia lugares nuevos. Habla de encontrarse con el verdadero ser. Esta canción nos remite a lo ancestral, a la raíz, a la tierra nuestra."

Resist talks about the journey of life, the search for who we are, to go deep within to find our true selves and everything that that brings with it, darkness and light. It talks about love in all of its forms, to do things with love and purpose, and to not let things die in moments of adversity.

Plumas talks about beauty.  It talks about beautiful moments that make you feel present and inspire you. That’s where romantic love comes from. It talks about how when in love, one often feels the highs, surrender and pure presence; beauty, life, colors and freedom. Always returning to that state, and to be free in that state. When composing this song at Selva Studios with Quantic we experimented with the sensations of those emotional peaks, joy, and creative freedom. That’s how the lyrics and the melodies appeared, “At greater heights more beats, but I sustain myself from your waist, in your movement birds fly, that know they know about sweetness”
