It was dark and windy and basically shit weather so we found this kalimba sound and we played this EMO romantic riff that the song starts with. Cheesy & dark.

We felt like there was something missing so we were sitting for probably 5 hours looking for sounds and then we started manipulating this messed up kora sound.

This is our upcoming single, out 29th of May! We feel like this is the best track we've produced so far and hope that you like it to!

About DMY
This is a song about emancipation, breaking free, doing as you please and taking care of yourself. The lyrics evolved around a sense of acting out your feelings ,“not caring”. This was that kind of song that “wrote itself” in a way. In fact the whole track was created during a very creative afternoon in Malmö. We ended up making the choruses big and heavy in a future bassy fashion to match the lyrics.
