Femur Rec makes its debut as a recording label with a 12” by the Scandinavian trio, Frak. There is not much we can add about these three brilliant Swedish artists, as their decade-long careers begin in the mid-eighties and is full of references in well-known labels as Börft Records, Lux Records or Dark Entries.
 The first reference we are now presenting is a 12” called Diseases. It consists of three tracks: side A begins with Span Clarity, a luminous and evocative track responded on the B side by Cromos Fraction. A dark, sullen and percussive track followed by Imagined Rush, which closes this first reference as a phantasmagorical delight.

Femur’s second release goes deeper into totally unsettling, dark and gloomy sounds. This time with one of our most valued fellow artists Celldöd. We are proud to press the track “Terrorbalans” for the first time on vinyl. It had been previously released on cassette by Celldöd himself on his own platform Brutal Disciplin. He has also included two unreleased tracks; the machine-like “Svart Sira” and “Socker”, dirtier and naughtier. The closure to this second reference is a magnificent remix by Swedish duo Fishermen, originally released on Brutal Disciplin, too

Señales”, Spanish for Signals, is the new work and debut at Femur by Rafa M. Espinosa, aka Geistform. It depicts a round trip to the darkest side, the sullen and dismal side of our sonic concept. The four tracks, which make up this 12” range from odes to smacking electro beat, obsessive mid-tempos, old industrial echoes and sinister and unsettling atmospheres.

"Statement” is the new 12” released for Femur by the Swedish duo Kord formed by Johan Sturesson (former Frak and Monster Apparat member) and Annie Gylling. This new sonic artifact is an ode to crude and primitive sounds and was recorded with the help of an old 8 track studio and many analogical synthesizers, drum machines, weird effects and vocals. The four tracks range from low-fi to wave featuring the fascinating vocals in Swedish by Annie Gylling making this a very unique and personal record.

After a one year and a half break, Femur makes his comeback with a 12” by French artist Cold Colors. For this occasion, we are recovering a selection of early demos to be released for the first time on vinyl. The four compiled tracks represent the particular cosmos in which Frédérick Barbe moves like fish in water. A perfect mixture between wave sounds, evocative melancholies, and enveloping darkness make up a real trip across foggy atmospheres. Release limited to 300 copies.
