It’s been a while since we last uploaded a Vacanza Radio since the whole crew was busy at @tarmacfestival. Now that we are back we’d like to share a mix by @laranovae who recently played a b2b at this years Tanzstelle with RN86

In 2017 nøvae stood the first time behind a small DJ booth in a bar in Lübeck. From this point her enthusiasm was sparked to play electronic music by herself. One year later she moved to Leipzig where she founded the muy bien collective with some friends. Since 2020 she is part of the Brotfabrik Crew and since 2022 part of the Seven Sins kinky party series in Berlin. She has already taken part in festivals like Wilwarin or Nation of Gondwana and has played in popular Clubs like Klunkerkranich in Berlin or Mjut, Elipamanoke and Westhafen in Leipzig. Characteristic is a melodic progressive style with some indie dance sounds. But depending on the evening it’s also possible to hear a classic disco track.

We are back to normal with our radio with an additional upload this Monday and will continue as usual from Friday onwards. Enjoy your week!

Anne Karmané (she/her) from Erfurt - sometimes also Anne Krawall, Anne Karacho or whatever the name suggests (haha) is a former Spotify DJ and has been more regularly behind the decks since 2019. She would describe her sound as spacy and loves to assemble her tracks in a sphere between Indie Dance and trancy House music.

The best-known clubs she has already played are probably „Süss. War gestern“ (Berlin), „Bahnwärter Thiel“ (Munich), „Die Rakete“ (Nuremberg), „Kalif Storch“ and „Central“ (Erfurt). The biggest festival Anne Karmané was able to keep the crowd going was „Klangtherapie“ this summer in the beautiful countryside near Bamberg.

When asked about her current favorite track, she would pick Boy Harsher & BOAN – Machina (feat. Mariana Saldaña) which gives us a similar Indie Dance vibe like most part of this mix. And that just proves how diverse the genre itself actually is.

About: 

The name Mareia stands for bouncy and eclectic sound as well as dirty bits and pieces. Her style on the one hand lets you dance automatically and on the other hand sometimes raises an honest smile into the crowd's faces. Being just a DJ is not enough for the likeable 27 years old Russian/Austrian mélange, so she is into producing as well. There’s one obvious fact, if you get in touch with Mareias sound as a recipient and dancer: You will always get thrilled!
