Viky Montefusco has long developed a name with music that spans multiple genres. Diversity in music is at the core of it. The sound of Montefusco has a common characteristic recognized by recurring themes; the nostalgia, the melody and the cosmic depth, that drags you, but without losing energy.
In “Navigate” he returns to the fray with us, and he does it with 3 tracks full of contention (Navigate, A Chi Tutto and Startrack), resulting in a serious work, carefully cared for, that lends itself to starting it and not returning to reality until it is finished: the the headphones are like the oxygen cylinder that allows us to dive to the bottom of this great sound rotation, this unique orbit, which manages to leave us in suspense, in a state of hypnotic fascination.
Montefusco seeks novelty without losing nostalgia, playing with the genre but without falling into predictable tricks, nor the arrogance of those who cling to a genre or mannerism to show that they have personality. Paradoxically, to achieve simplicity and lucidity requires experience and the ability to free oneself from the limitation of conditioning, and this "Navigate" is a healthy example of this.
In this world where speed is desperately sought and attention deficit is so high, such an album will be misunderstood among many people, even dismissed as really important. But you just have to have the patience and the will to stop, to breathe, to sink into it, to hold on there as long as you can, and admire its interior.

Cycloid Dyaxis - Hang On! (The Music Is...)

Pinorama starts this 2023 with Kielmannsegge’s latest remix delivery. A style cocktail ranging from nervous beats to mind-bending textures by some of the most talented and interesting Spanish producers. 

We begin the trip with a dancefloor gem by @alvarocabana , renowned producer from Madrid and head of the label Rotten City. Cabana's remix for "Kingdom" is a bouncing dark funk bomb that explodes at the end with a final twist of style, diving into the cosmic realm. 

Once we are there we drift through space with a remix of "Echoes" by @odagled_music , a Young promising producer from Málaga, who proposes a deep bath into a hypnotic fluid of textures, crafting the most accurate beats with a crystal clear sound and a love for bass. 

@eddyromero takes over the journey with an expedition into the organic dub-tech territory with a smart combination of synths and drum machines on his remix for "Crazy". Eddy is a basque producer living in the south of France, responsible of Expmental Records, and his work here is the perfect landing maneuver for our trip. 

Back on the ground, our land pilot @lebollet , beloved DJ (and art cover designer too) from monumental Córdoba, also picks "Crazy" and takes it cross-country to the indieland. Funky breaks, a bassline of doom and crazy arps guide the wheels of this 4x4 rocky tune in a tight shaky groove. 

Finally comes @shurkolove , techno lover and producer from Madrid, owner of Lovechord Records, who takes control and pushes the accelerator, turning "Tears Can't Run" into a devastating electro-tech sprint, a dark and spiritual dance anthem for the late nighters, blowing up the dancefloor on a sound supernova.
