With this EP we bring an homage to 'Dikke Ronny'. He was pionearing with a new choise of music, to create moods instead of poppy sing alongs. He was an inspiration to many, and without him, electronic dance-music would not have existed as a genre. And maybe this EP does not reflect the sound of that era, it is a dark moody escape from our poppy reality. Le Phenomene De 33 + 8 is an acid stomper, with agressive sounding synths. A blend like pure coffee in the morning to get you on the road. As horrible the news came in about the fire in the "Notre Dame de Paris", "Le FantÙme" (the ghost) is hiding now in the dark corners of your club. Again it is a dark moody acid stomper, with even more dark agression of synths who will haunt your floor. Power of the Darkness (La Symphonie Noire), says it all. This track is original will be featured in upcoming Fashion Victims Volume 4! Closing this EP we do together with Tasmara in the Acid Venom Mix of 'Into Darkness'. This ultimate diva plays with familiar sounds and a huge attitude. Your floor will become a devils playground, your floor will be on fire! You just have to wait untill all hell got loose by this acid stomper! Fenix Fire Records has released another gemm, another masterpiece. Fenix Fire is always ahead!

Dame-Music presents The Paradigm Shift Vol. 1. 

For the first release of 2021, label owner @bloody-mary is launching a new series which aims to blur the lines between EBM, dark wave and acid. The release comes straight off the back of the label’s 10 year anniversary compilation.

Alongside Bloody Mary herself, this 4 tracker features a hand-picked selection of established and fresh artists whose tracks she has been supporting over the years. 

Kicking things off on the A-Side is Bloody Mary’s track “Snatch”, followed by the renowned French artist Millimetric who’s welcomed to Dame-Music for the first time with his track “Body Alert” on A2. 

On the flip we see two more label debuts, this time from Russian artist Meshes on B1 with his track “Ролевая Игра (Roleplay)”, while Colombian artist Delectro rounds out the package on B2 with the heavy hitting and aptly named “Panic Rage”. 

The Paradigm Shift Vol. 1 vinyl is out on Dame-Music on 2nd July 2021.

It has been two years since the first compilation on the Various Artists series (PEVA) of Pi Electronics and the concept has stayed true to its aim: to present a coherent selection of the label’s favourite collaborators from the roster and parties over the years. Bringing together Greek and international artists, this compilation opens with a 10 minute recording by the combined forces of Orphx and JK Flesh (Justin Broadrick), from a live performance recorded in Amsterdam. Meanwhile we also showcase the resurfacing of Vofa, the joint project of producers Sawf and ANFS. There is a variety of options in this 13 tracks release; from the raw and harsh textures of An-i and New Frames, to Lycurgus live drum set recordings, Kondaktor’s African percussive electronics and Sarin’s EBM infused techno. Some more techno interpretations, such as the hypnotic moods of Stave and Fragedis, or the more punchy sounds of Restive Plaggona and Poison Green. These shape the full picture of this second Pi Electronics compilation titled ‘Divide & Rule’.
