On the A side of their „Lovecream EP“ Schlepp Geist & Benotmane give a very seductive proposition and at the same time they created an irresistible mantra: „My head is burning, you make my machine clean, my love cream is waiting, so let’s become a dream team.“ If this is not convincing to move your feet, the B side will do. Because here hides the next ear catcher. „Stuck in my Head“ is to be taken literally. Simon Jinadu's fascinating and soulful vocal performance burns itself into your mind  with the same strength as on his guest appearance for Deep House icon Jimpster.
As usual „Lovecream EP“ comes as a 10inch vinyl release in a limited edition and numbered by hand. As a digital bonus track, but no less valuable for that, Rampue gives this release a more hypnotic and dreamy component. It's really too sad that there's not enough space on these vinyl records.

For the past nine years, Fenou is a sub-division of the renowned Mo`s Ferry Productions and is the epitome of a sophisticated taste somewhere between harmonious Electronica sound and swinging Minimal-Electro. Now, "Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" compiled by Douglas Greed appears as another exciting showcase on the small but nice Fenou-Rooster and show some new artists who have found their way there!
Founded in 2005, Fenou has soon become a home for hip acts like Kadebostan, Sebastian Russell, Lake Powel, Mooryc, Schlepp Geist and Benotmane and of course producer and label owner Niklas Worgt with all of its projects, such as Dapayk solo, Dapayk & Padberg, and many other who have been established themselves in the international club scene. With the new part of the label compilation "Fenou Bouquet", the series now enters the third round.
"Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" is compiled by none other than Douglas Greed. The Compilation shows an eclectic track selection and a wide-ranging overview of new developments and upcoming releases of the music of Berlin’s underground. After Marcel Knopf and Dapayk solo Jena based Turntable Rocker proves his knack for this very special kind of "Cute Minimal Electronica" which Fenou devotes itself to.
The first two compilations were a well balanced mix of new exclusive material and older pieces of the label catalog. On "Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" almost every track is entirely new and largely exclusive. This compilation by Douglas Greed reflects all the stylistic preferences of the bustling DJ and Producer, who has already released on labels like Infiné, Gigolo, Kindisch, Lebensfreude, Acker, Freude am Tanzen or Bpitch Control.
"Fenou Bouquet" bears Douglas' distinct mark: starting from clubby-driving electronica tunes by Jon Donson, Einzelkind, Sebastian Russell, to housy-gentle moments of Schlepp Geist, Klute and An on Bast, followed by floating trance tracks by The Micronaut, Daniel Nitsch or Mollono.Bass to a trippy after-hour atmosphere by Deer and Clara Moto and closing with a slightly darkening track by Swimmingpool.

Sebastian Russell's latest trick on Fenou turns out to be a beautiful early summer record. For more than 10 years the London-based guitarist is dedicated to electronic music and his creative passion is heard with every track he releases.
The A side starts with the title track "Free Fall", which makes you want to jump to this prancing, easy beat. The catchiness of the tune will etch itself into your memory. Then we meet the graceful "Hide" with its warm, yet powerful and rich sound. The B side belongs to "Force", a refreshingly glistening track of sophisticated sound-finesse, which also is the records most danceable tune. The topic of „Salome“ fits the two producers Kadebostan and Laolu from Switzerland perfectly. Just listen to their prior releases on Freude Am Tanzen, fenou or Clap Your Hands. The melodies sway back and forth - dreamy and full of peace. The rhythm group plays along and only the most necessary things. And even though the vocal phrases retain their own character, they blend into this musical structure as if they were made for these tracks. The A and the B face show a masterly crafted arrangement. It would be a mistake not to listen to the whole, as one would miss the feeling to let yourself go. As usual, the lovingly designed 10inch record is a limited edition and numbered by hand.

The new fenou25 release is actually a split ep, despite the fact that the same artists made these tracks. Solid Slap are two guys from Hamburg. With track #1 „Temper“ they definitely walk along the path of more popular electronic dance music. But this comes as no surprise considering the vocal parts that the guys recorded together with young Berlin singer Blen Baheru. On the flip track #2 „Rising Skies“ is a chilly track with a relaxed beat structure, ambient pad sounds and a recurring piano melody that seduces you to night and day dreaming. Last but not least we have „Temper“ in Madison's deep Chicago Calm Down Mix as a Free Bonus track for download on the label's website.

For eleven years already, Fenou has been a synonym for a stylish sound between harmonious electronica and swinging minimal electro. The small but fine sub-division of the well-known Mo's Ferry Productions has created an entirely own niche within the international club scene. Since 2010 the „Fenou Bouquet“ compilations have also established themselves as a representative overview of the multifaceted work of the Berlin-based talent factory. After the previous parts have been compiled by fantastic music selectors such as Marcel Knopf, Dapayk and Douglas Greed, the Leipzig-based musician and producer Stefan Streck aka The Micronaut is responsible for Vol.4. Welcome to „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“!

The Micronaut already left his mark on the last „Fenou Bouquet“ compilation with his track called „Two Lovers“. After the Leipzig-based artist has already released three longplayer elsewhere and rocked the floors at festivals such as the Fusion, the Dutch Eurosonic or Tallinn Music Week, The Micronaut now proudly presents himself as one of the most exciting and promising newcomers on Fenou! Just like the previous „Fenou Bouquet“ releases, Vol.4 kept the conceptual idea to provide a rousing mix of new exclusive tracks, remixes and carefully selected material from the extensive Fenou-Rooster. Although for the first time there is a non-Fenou title that found its way on Vol.4: „Rockit“ by Greeko originally published on Mo's Ferry.

Although the mixture of „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“ is as diverse as the artists themselves, there is a recurring theme: „I wanted to tell a story with the compilation of these tracks,“ said the Micronaut describing this handpicked composition of Vol.4. The compilation represents the likes and dislikes of this Thirty-something guy from Saxony, who also produces soundtracks and image films for various companies. „I like blue, tragic, epic tracks. Tracks that stimulate the inner eye and create images. Tunes that are simply danceable, would be too dull for me.“ And so The Micronaut presents not only The Magician & The Scientist, From Karaoke To Stardom but also Interelektrika and Zaquoir. „I want to take people on a trip.“ A journey that begins with the opener by Martin Kohlstedt and slowly but steady continues to build. „‚Am‘ is a great way to get in the mood. It is also very interesting to hear the interplay of beat and harmony in Lake Powel's ‚Bright Eyes, Dirty Hair (Acid Pauli & NU Remix)‘ while Dapayk's remix of Mooryc ‚Simply‘ pushes forward with high intensity. This dancefloor steamroller is really very out of character, but represents an important contrast to the mood of the entire track list.“

On „Silly Me“ he also plays with ambient sounds. But the dry and stumbling beat propels you until Monday noon. In late 2010 the Berlin based label „Fenou“ celebrated it's 5th anniversary. Reason enough to release the first label compilation collecting six favourite tracks from the back cataloge and six brand new tunes. With Camara & Bustler's „When the night falls“ and Hidenobu Ito's „Come“ two of the previously unreleased tracks were cut on 10inch vinyl – as usual, it's a limited edition and numbered by hand.

To drive the vinyl enthusiasts mad who favour not only day-by-day sounds the fenou releases are limited 10inch editions with hand painted cover artwork and serially numbered.
