Though initially rooted in Heavy Metal, Fenrir have always claimed diverse influences with their musical style evolving as time goes by. They sorted out their differences and created their own brand of music. Their sound has been described as Alternative Metal, Experimental Rock, Progressive Rock, Nu Metal, Post Grunge and Rap Metal. They talk about love, sex, drugs, angst, masochism and adolescent issues in their music.

They sought after bands like Deftones, Mudvayne and Slipknot. Had problems with other members because of their musical differences and had their solid roster which composed of D.J., Rolan and Jeron. Duke made songs with them and played their first gig last September. Now continuing on being serious with their craft, Fenrir had a knack of kicking ass at every performance. Alt-Metal to Nu Metal as some spectators say, most of the time being compared to Deftones.

Friends often praised them as one of the more unique bands in the underground scene. They usually get good feedback from spectators because of their downer but feel good, innovative and atmospheric music. Fenrir have always seemed more curious and more willing to incorporate traditionally revered sounds to their alt-metal music. They equip sounds to their music that are unsoiled but dirty at the same time. This band is sure to rock you hard without you knowing it.
