Soundscapes V1_ Afterhours Mix

Percussionist and vocalist, Fernando began his relationship with musical interpretation as a teenager when he acquired his first set of drums. A few years later he got his first live shows as a vocalist along with his first own compositions. Also influenced by the local electronic scene in Córdoba, by the year 2005 he was impelled to get into dj'ing.

Following year he moved to Cancún, where he began developing this new career. Influenced by techno and house labels, with very neat mixing techniques, carefully selected tracks and emotional, groovy sessions, he was rapidly booked as Resident DJ for Nectar Bar Afterhours Club, Thai Lounge, Mix Sky Club and Red Bull Mexico for their 'Riviera Maya Tour'. With 1 year experience Fernando found himself playing his sets at least 5 times a week, often delivering extended sessions of 10+ hours.

In 2008 he decided to move to Barcelona, where he was booked as Residend DJ at the legendary KGB Club, and got into production with his shared live act project Superferric.
Their first release 'Gin Toxic Ep' through Inout Records was featured on 'John Digweed - Transitions on Proton Radio (Pole Folder Guestmix) May 2009' and from then on they have released on labels such as Resopal Schallware, Sintetics Records and Dubhe Recordings, with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Anderson Noise, Hermanez, Axel Barstch, Francesco Farfa, Paco Osuna, Pablo Bolivar and Pole Folder, among many other great artists. By 2009 Superferric became sponsored by the world leader in music production & performing software, Ableton Live and began taking their live set to the biggest clubs in Barcelona.

Nowadays he is back in his beloved hometown Córdoba, where after a quite long and karmic pause is working on a new project called D.0.L (Dreaming Out Loud), a dance music Live act with shades of melodic techno and progressive house,  alongside his partner in crime Rodrigo Espinosa and his sparkling guitar sounds.
