EMUH, back again to reveal the self, brings familiar dance genres in an unfamiliar way. In fresh fashion, while we navigate in the familiar of LSD, they bring the left field of ALD-52 to our auditory pathway. What begins as a jarring minimalism, grows to consume as the tech seeps in. The journey has begun and the giggles kick in as Funnybone delivers a tech house groove patient enough to keep our legs under us, but engaging our collective mind into a neuronal firing range. We are reminded that some journeys require a moment of reflection and Ostinato brings the musical rhythm that will have us dancing alone upon a magic mirror gate within a sea of people. Finally, what’s a sweaty night of learning, connecting and understanding, without a nostalgic cartoon homage like Jungle’s Lab, with hyper drum and bass kayutenezz, to empty our tanks only to crash blissfully after.
