Ahead of Voyeur releasing an LP this year we have our residents submitting this Midsummer themed mix.

Benson and Leo broke through in February 2012 with a captivating remix of Bombay Bicycle Club’s “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep” and have since gone on to play live in the Boiler Room and in the booth alongside greats like Frankie Knuckles, Masters At Work, Dennis Ferrer and Cassy.

Kerri Chandler was so impressed with the duo that he snapped them up for his Madtech imprint in November 2012. Releasing the pair’s debut single "Blame It on the Youth" with a remix of his own.

As DJs this duo weave their own sonic tapestries, calling on smoky deep house, physical tech and plenty of shades in between at venues all across the UK and Europe. Having become a regular and popular choice as his warm up DJs, the pair's relationship with Kerri Chandler has continued to develop, with the house legend now mentoring the young duo as they prepare a wealth of new original material for his new Kaoz Theory project, due for release in 2016.

With acclaimed remixes for artists like Foals, Azari & III and Santigold, and labels including Watergate and Madhouse also behind them, it is clear that Voyeur have firmly cemented themselves as one of the UK's fastest rising house acts.

‘Off the Streets’ is a compilation of electronic music composed and performed by local (Waterford City) and International producers.

Since the financial crash in 2008, Ireland has witnessed an immense increase in the number of people sleeping rough on the streets. The recession has been particularly hard on vulnerable people and marginalised sections of society with a sharp increase since last year of people sleeping rough on the streets. Furthermore, high unemployment, poverty, inadequate mental health services, lack of emergency accommodation and severe cuts to funding for front line services have had a direct impact on the levels of people sleeping rough on the streets.

The aim of ‘Off the Streets’ is to further highlight the increasing homeless crises in Waterford and to donate 100% of the proceeds raised through the sale of the album to ‘Helping Hands’ who provide free hot meals for those who have fallen on hard times.

Helping Hands was formed 1 year ago, when the need for a night time service for the ever-increasing numbers of homeless and those in need was recognised. The group started simply, serving teas, sandwiches’ etc. and giving out clothes, sleeping bags duvets to those sleeping rough. They now provide hot meals six nights a week from St Patricks Gateway as well as looking after several families in the wider Waterford area who have fallen on hard times. Helping Hands rely solely on the kindness of the general public to keep us stocked up with food and provisions. None of the volunteers receive any expenses or wages from our group.

All of the local and international artists featured on the album, have graciously donated their music to this urgent and worthy cause. There are 4 UK artists and 5 Irish artists featured on the album, Artists featured are Manchester producer/DJ Moodymanc aka Danny Ward, David Anthony, Soulfuledge, 0.0.R.S. London (O.O.R.S. Für unsere #124 zeichnen sich diesmal die beiden Herren Landhouse&Raddantze aus Karlsruhe verantwortlich.

Seit nunmehr 4 Jahren gehen die beiden Freunde gemeinsam als DJ & Produzenten Duo durch dick und dünn. Bereits vor dieser Zeit waren sie schon seit einigen Jahren freundschaftlich miteinander verbunden und zogen in dieser Zeit gemeinsam durch die Partylandschaft. Dabei war ihr musikalischer Weg bis dato etwas unterschiedlicher Natur. Während sich Raddantze schon etliche Jahre dem Produzieren verschrieben hatte, war sein Kollege Landhouse seit jeher als leidenschaftlicher Vinyl-DJ bekannt. Beiden liegt das musizieren quasi in den Genen, denn sie stammen aus Musikerfamilien und wurden so schon sehr früh mit dem Musik-Virus infiziert. Schließlich haben sie bei einem ihrer gemeinsamen nächtlichen Ausflüge beschlossen ihre Liebe und Power für die elektronische Musik zu bündeln - Gott sei Dank möchte man fast sagen.

Ihr musikalisches Zuhause fanden die beiden Karlsruher in dem Netlabel Seaside Trip mit ihrer gleichnamigen Podcastreihe, wo ihr Captain Rolandson eisern das Steuer führt. Ihre Produktionen fanden bereits den Weg auf so klangvolle Labels wie Underyourskin Records, Serafin Audio Imprint, Black Hills Recordings und Wildfang Records und ihre Tracks werden von allen Größen der entschleunigten Szene gespielt, wie z.B. Mira, Unders, Monolink.

Für uns hat das Duo eine verträumte und zugleich verspielte Reise kreiert, welche uns Hörer sofort und unweigerlich in seinen Bann zieht - wahrlich zauberhaft. Dafür gebührt ihnen unser tiefempfunder Dank. Wir wünschen euch nun maximalste Unterhaltung mit unserer #124.
