This is a new song to uplift the heart and for nature lovers everywhere from the upcoming album....
It's a collaboration with the incredibly talented John Bermingham, a photographer, videographer and composer based in Dungarvan. We met last year at a charity event and after checking out his music, I fell in love with one of his instrumental pieces called 'A composite of noises arranged in repetition'. I asked if I could add lyrics and vocal to it and thankfully he trusted me with his baby. As soon as I sat down to write, words and melody flowed through so fast and clear that I knew it was gonna be special.
Then together with Tony O' Flaherty of Sonas studios, I recorded the ideas and also created a short bridge in the latter part of the piece. The result is really beautiful.

A few weeks later I travelled to Masterkey Studios in Iceland to work on other songs for the upcoming album with producer and engineer Mio Þórisson and the gifted Oscar winning Marketa Irglova. She then put some haunting backing vocals on the bridge part. She also features in several of the new songs and takes the lead in one in particular. All in all, it's been a magical journey of music creation and collaboration with some extremely warm and shiny souls.

While in lockdown, John has put together this video that is quite apt for the time we're all in.
