A demo of one of our first tracks - about trying to get through to someone with depression using Summer and Winter metaphorically to describe various states of mind. It's a bit rough sorry - we only had one take and no warm up! Hope you enjoy.

Clouded Lens is a new young band straight out of sunny Napier, with a knack for writing catchy songs with sing-a-long hooks and a fresh faced approach to what truly defines Rock ‘n Roll. They combine a huge array of styles, such as post-punk, indie, grunge, blues and psychedelic rock – all while carving out their own unique sound and imprinting themselves on the Hawkes Bay music scene with their energetic live performances, hard work and impressionable demeanours. They draw from a hugely diverse range of influences including The Ramones, The Killers, Radiohead, Neil Young, Cream, The Doors, The Beastie Boys, Buddy Rich, Nirvana, The Who, The White Stripes, Green Day and Muse. In their successful albeit short career they have already performed at a wide array of gigs in different venues, and managed to score the ‘Rockquest Best Song Award’ at the 2018 regional finals for their song “Morning”. They have a huge back-catalogue of both originals and covers. They are keen to play more gigs and make a larger name for themselves in the community.
