This set was played live without much of a setlist, only an idea of where I wanted to go, several banks of patterns, and patch libraries. I only recently started using hardware for the purposes of live performance. After about 6 years of producing in the box and 20+ years djing, it feels like a natural synthesis of the two art forms. I'm having some of the most fun I've ever had musically.

I am infatuated with the immediacy, the connection to the music hardware provides. It's important for me to maintain a certain level of improvisation when I play. I want at least a few things to happen that no one, including myself, has ever heard before, and may not ever hear again, every set. I love the fact that every moment in time has the potential to be musically, and sonically singular. 

For this set, I wanted to present something representative of the sounds that have always spoken to me. Deep, tribal, almost naturalistic but techy with an emphasis on groove and sound design. For me, it gives a sense of wandering through a biomechanical jungle or forest.

Extremely happy to show you guys what I have been working on - this showcase is a true glimpse into the work and effort that has been poured into this project over the last year. Im so proud of this body of work and i hope you enjoy. 

Disconnect (to) Reconnect was designed to capture the feeling of stepping away from the noise of everyday life. It explores the idea of finding clarity and balance by immersing yourself in the natural world and embracing moments of stillness. This mix serves as a reminder to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.
