Fernando Rio has spent his entire career as an entertainer, singer/songwriter. Fernando never dreamed that his early guitar lessons would lead to traveling around the world and making a living as a musician. Fernando began his prolific career at a young age in Mexico, later making his way to Los Angeles, Cal. His musical talent as a guitarist and singer led to becoming a member of the original Main Street Singers who later became the opening act for such stars as; Martha Raye, Roger Williams, Rowan and Martin, Pat Butrum and many others.

He has written special material for the group as well as his own music. Throughout his career as an entertainer, Fernando has recognized the absolute value of understanding the business side of show business. He has served on several music guilds as well as being president of the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association  (FMPTA )
