'Postcards from Italy' Fabio Perletta (Field Recordings By B. DeDominicis)

Juice were formed back in the 1960's and were part of the underground movement which later developed into psychedelic and progressive rock. Although they were one of Britain's most innovative bands , they were completely overlooked by the major record labels because they refused to conform. They avoided the 'rock star' image and had a great affinity with their audiences. They built up a huge cult following, but never had any mainstream success. In those days it was impossible to go against the established corporate music business that had overwhelming control over the industry.
Juice were eventually forced to disband, but incredibly the original band members are now back together and still writing and performing. They have stayed true to their beliefs and remain outsiders, but with the help of modern technology, they are now able to continue what they started and reach out to their audience in ways that were unimaginable in the past.  © 2013 Musical Juice http://www.musicaljuice.com/

In other words, small, subtle changes in temperature, pressure, humidity and temperature gradient can have a dramatic effect on the type of snow crystal that forms. This makes snow one of the most complex and changeable substances on Earth."

Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) is a space probe designed to study the Martian atmosphere while orbiting Mars. Mission goals include determining how the Martian atmosphere and water, presumed to have once been substantial, were lost over time. MAVEN was successfully launched on November 18, 2013. 

To mark this special occasion, NASA invited members of the public to submit their names and a personal message online for a DVD to be carried aboard a spacecraft that will study the Martian upper atmosphere. The public also was encouraged to submit a message in the form of a three-line poem, or haiku.
