"The Wind Language" is about Memory and Freedom and is simultaneously a personal encounter with Berlin and Lisbon. In 1997 as part of a collective exhibition by Maumaus (a Lisbon art school) I used several recordings from Lisbon in a public library at the huge garden of Pankow in Berlin. The play now being heard mix current sounds from the same place in Pankow and others from today's Lisbon. In the gardens and squares you can hear anonymous people whistling themes associated with periods of change, winds and breaths of the daily life of this and other cities. This piece was installed at the garden next to the portuguese republic assembly.

"Circuitos Sonoros" was a sound art exhibition produced by Eufonia and Zaratan Gallery, Lisbon & Berlin 2020.

Recorded live at the Cistern - Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon 2013. 

A designer uses several materials such as screws, nails and 
other objects to scratch a metal surface. 
The noise produced by this act is processed, modulated and 
returned to the space influencing the draw gesture. 
A turntable is used to manipulate metal discs produced and 
scratched in real time. At the end we obtain a metal matrix for printing a series of engravings. An image becomes a possible materialization of whole performance

Prototype [432], designed by the Lithuanian architect Bernardas Bagdanavičius is a complex musical instrument, cube-shaped, composed of grids and metal structures that support a total of 432 crossed guitar strings. The construction of this piece is based on the numeric array of the Schoenberg's Concert for Piano and Orchestra, Opus 42 and allows to be played and manipulated simultaneously by a variable number of musicians. Prototype [432] premiered at SuperStereo Demonstration Festival - Teatro Maria Matos, March 2012.
A musical instrument and sound performance serving the different perspectives and approaches in handling, modeling and processing by four portuguese improvisers.

WHIT live at Zaratan Gallery Lisbon in December 2014. 

WHIT is a quartet of Lisbon-based turntablists that foresee the turntable as an instrument of endless possibilities. Each musician brings a special background with him, a unique way of playing the turntable. The quartet uses exclusively the turntables, objects, original and modified vinyl records in many forms of physical manipulation. 

WHIT are Nuno Moita, Miguel Sá, Fernando Fadigas and Pedro Lopes.
