As we roll onto  Episode 325 we are joined by ABSIS, a true pioneer of the Barcelona Electronic music scene. This show is an exclusive Live Recording of his Warmup set at LAUT CLUB Barca a few weeks ago!

ABSIS is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer known for his deep and introspective Techno music. He has been a regular in the Barcelona scene since the late 90s, performing at events like The Loft (Razzmatazz) and Sonar and Mostra. ABSIS explores the deeper side of electronic music, seamlessly transitioning between Ambient and Techno. He has released music on labels like Hivern Discs, Oslated, and Huinali Recordings.

He’s also one-half of the electronic project Asyncronous, known for releases on Phonica Records and Slow Life. Known for its mind bending, boundary pushing releases, the label has recently featured the likes of ORBE, JUDAΣ, Mike Parker, CONCEPTUAL, Viels, D-Leria, Blazej Malinowski, Michal Wolski, Xhato, Milena Glowaka and of course Mary herself, plus many many more. A label that ignores fleeting trends and consistently delivers high quality timeless records. 

The mix was of course recorded in all vinyl one take session, where you can expect to hear the kind of heads down techno the label is synonymous for: deep, cerebral and mind-melting - a dedication to authentic, thought-provoking electronic music that transcends the ordinary.
