We meet another new podcast prepared by the artist Erik Villalpando, better known under the pseudonyms Dj Dope-E, The Dopeman, Nuklear Prophet. Erik is based in California, Los Angeles. Started djing in 1994 spinning Electro Funk, Hip Hop and Gabber Hardcore. He entered and won many dj battles and most recently made it to Pacific West Red Bull Threestyle Dj Compettion Division FInals. Started producing music in 2001. Currently working on Electro and Melodic releases.

1. Which artists has influenced you the most? 
There are many, I have been influenced by artists like Kraftwerk, Dj Magic Mike, Anthony Rother, Aphex Twin, Square Pusher.

2. What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
I am currently working on a few demo tracks to shop around to various labels out there. I just recently released a full album on U-Trax Records from Utrecht titled Prophecies 11:21 and it is available on vinyl, cd and cassette at utrax.com.

3. Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 
I am really diggin Jensen Interceptor, J-Shaw from Detroit and Amadeezy, I pretty much like anything that is released on International Chrome records, they are solid label with a lot of dope shit.

4. What inspires you now to create music? 
Usually it's the type of mood I am in, I am always hearing melodies in my head so it's usually a matter of finding time to work in the lab.
