„Hypnose“ ist ein kraftvoller, basslastiger Minimal-Techno-Track. Charakteristisch sind fette 808-Drums, ein fesselnder Groove mit schnellen Hi-Hats sowie minimalistische, aber prägnante Synth-Stabs. ~Zeit für ein schleichendes Frage & Antwort Spiel~

>> Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Ich bin Verena, komme ursprünglich aus den Tiefen des rheinlandpfälzischen Waldes und bin vor kurzem aus Bremen ins beschauliche Halle gezogen.

>> Wie kamst du zum auflegen?
Ich hatte Lust auf mehr melodische und langsamere Musik im Club und vor allem auf mehr Frauen hinter den Decks. Da es das 2018 in Bremen noch nicht so viel von beidem gab, hab ich angefangen selber aufzulegen.

>> Was gefällt dir besonders an "langsamer" Musik?
Die Musik wird für mich breiter. Die einzelnen Sphären der Klänge, der Instrumente und der Beats kann ich so viel intensiver erfassen. Gleichzeitig lädt langsamere Musik für mich mehr dazu ein, den ganzen Körper im Tanz zu bewegen und Ausdruck zu finden, der für mich oftmals intensiver ist, als bei über 128bpm.

>> Dein aktueller Lieblingstrack (und auf wieviel BPM)?
Das ist sehr schwierig. Aber welchen Track ich gerade wirklich sehr gerne höre, habe ich als Closingtrack in meinem Podcast eingebaut: Avem ft. Dennis Kiss -Lluvia auf 98bpm.

>> Ein Set, dass du dir immer wieder anhörst?
Wechselt stetig, aktuell mag ich sehr gerne das LDS 7.8 Set von Leichtigkeit des Seins.

>> Dein Lieblingsfestival?
Zugvögel Festival in Udenbreth

A few years have passed since the day I saw myself playing to share my love and passion for music.
Music, as pure vibration, is a powerful healing tool and has healed me so many times. During dark times of sadness and loneliness, music connected me to deeps feelings of joy and gratitude, bringing my soul back to life. I’m forever grateful for all the things that music brought to my life such as unique moments and experiences, lifetime friends, profound connections to humans, myself, and the Universe.

During @mira_kater’s birthday in Berlin last December, I decided that 2020 will be the year where I will start playing and stop postponing my dream.
Orkatz was born that weekend, in a moment of pure bliss listening to all the amazing artists who played for Mira and us at Katerblau, my favorite club in Berlin.

I was fast to buy Traktor, but not so fast on starting to play. Maybe a lack of self-confidence, lack of time also… but my two fairies friends Sonia & Cindy offered me the opportunity to play during an enchanted weekend they organized last weekend. I did not feel ready but I said YES. There was no way I would postpone this again and it was the perfect set up to start. A beautiful house and magical garden by the river, 25 friends who could only give me the best support and love, with no pressure of being perfect or being judged.

The night before, I created my playlist, bought tracks I love, imagined what I wanted to share, opened Traktor, and started exercising.
I finished working on my future first set in the car…
Two mornings after, I was behind the decks and pressed play…
By doing so, I know I am engaging myself into a completely new cycle of my life journey.

I can't thank enough my friend and musical mentor @lucid-paris, a Dj and now music producer that I always believed in and pushed to reveal his talent to the world. Now roles have changed and he is the one teaching me and giving me the courage to start playing.

So enough writing here is my very first set.
Please be kind on the little technical bugs. I am fully into a learning process so it’s definitely not perfect…

A special tribute to my two fairies friends Cindy and Sonia who gave me this amazing opportunity to step out of my cocoon…

Wir entscheiden uns für Tor Nummer drei. Madmotormiquel lupft seinen Rock, so dass wir der Reihe nach zwischen seinen Beinen hindurch krabbeln können. Als wir vollzählig auf der anderen Seite angekommen sind, überkommt uns das Bedürfnis, die Polonaise von vorn zu starten und wir krabbeln zurück - beziehungsweise im Kreis. Eine dritte Runde folgt. Es wird zur Sucht. 
Als uns irgendwann die Kraft verlässt, füttert uns Madmotormiquel mit Erdbeerquark, macht uns einen Gutenachttee und deckt uns sanft mit seinem Rock zu. Wie lieb.
Im Traum erscheinen uns die drei Weisen aus dem Abendland. Um die Reinheit unserer Seelen weiterhin zu gewährleisten...
