Baie est un nouveau band de party qui mélange le pop et le disco aux saveurs dansantes du surf rock sur fond de la Baie des Chaleurs! Des mélodies qui font danser et des paroles mélancoliques parfaites pour les amoureux désespérés.

Grand Bleu est une ode aux histoires d'amour et à la Baie des Chaleurs sur un fond nostalgique aux couleurs du soleil couchant. Écouter BAIE, c’est comme plonger dans des péripéties amoureuses et dans des histoires qui réchauffent le cœur à travers une musique qui goûte le punch aux fruits et les Froot Loops. Avec des paroles au goût sucré-salé, cet album amalgame le disco et le rock des années 60-70 à la pop d’aujourd’hui. Les harmonies de voix touchent l’âme tout comme les réverbérations de guitares qui font écho aux lignes de basse légères pour offrir un son à mi-chemin entre Beau-Dommage et les Beatles tout en rappelant les vibrations ensoleillées des Beach boys.

Unfinished Song - Improvised Piano Piece

This song was written in the style of a lullaby but has deeper meaning. There are times when we all must leave the safety of our cocoons, take our wings, and go on a courageous journey meant only for us. I dedicate this to my nieces: Caitlyn, Alisia, and Emma.

Fetherstone combines jazz, pop, folk and electronica to showcase a very personal, modern expression of her luscious songwriting and sublime vocals. Working as a seasoned jazz vocalist and composer in Australia since 2009, Briana Cowlishaw moved to the UK in 2015 where she started a new musical adventure; Fetherstone. The project is named after Bri’s grandmother (Edith Featherstone/Cowlishaw), a renowned printmaker in Australia, and is what Bri channels all her creative energy through; songwriting, painting, performing and creative play. Fetherstone’s debut EP was produced by UK’s Harry Tarlton (Union J, WarnerUK), followed by 3 singles released between 2018 and 2020, and she is now about to release her first self produced body of work, "Full Turn", due out 1st June 2023.

The album "Full Turn" is a fusion of songs and interludes, capturing the essence and energy of the places where Fetherstone’s stories came from; the frantic streets of London to the quiet and serene bush in the Australian Blue Mountains. Ambitious at heart, Briana Cowlishaw started the journey of learning how to produce and mix her own music 3 years ago during the pandemic lockdown, which has allowed her music to tell raw and personal stories about her connection to nature, finding resilience through darkness, the bumpy and joyful road of being an artist and the cycles of death and rebirth. “Full Turn” was recorded, produced and mixed in a marriage of home studio setups between Sydney, Central Coast NSW and Berlin, alongside Berlin based Aussie singer and producer, Matilda Abraham.

Performances in Brighton, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Prague and Brno have seen Fetherstone utilise a 5 channel vocal loop pedal and beats machine to craft stunning vocal arrangements of her songs, as well as acapella arrangements of covers from her artistic role models, such as Madison Cunningham, Phoebe Bridges, Tom Misch, Lianne La Havas, Emily King, Bon Iver and Joni Mitchell.
