The EP delivers three genre-defying remixes of Kaplan’s original tracks, known for blending Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and electronic jazz elements.

Featuring some of the world’s most innovative producers of global rhythms, the remixes reimagine Kaplan’s sound with fresh energy.

Shantel turns “Yoizale” into a belly-dance-ready banger, full of brass, bass, and infectious rhythm. It's a sunset on fire—an irresistible call to the dance floor.

Daniel Haaksman gives “Sahara Express” a funky, percussive twist, infusing it with tribal rhythms and global flair. Known for his African and Latin electronic sound, he transforms the track into a wild sonic journey through the Sahara.

DJ Raff remixes “Free Love” into a dreamy, soulful groove, adding Latin-tinged beats and spacious warmth. His version feels like a moonlit stroll through a desert oasis. Freedom becomes both intimate and expansive in this rework.

I finally found the time to go through my record collection. I found a lot of stuff I bought in the 90s, which brought back many great memories. Exciting genres such as trip hop and drum & bass emerged, hip hop exploded, and house conquered the dance floors. Time for a new mix for your listening pleasure. Of course, there are some new discoveries in there. Thanks to Ross Allen for the inspiration, as well as Daniel Best (Best Works Booking) and Jazzanova for their support.
