The catchy synths and progressive arrangement make for a song that provides plenty of focus and flow. Keeping true to the original inspiration, the Offshores (Banyan Remix) is wavy and keeps you on a progressive journey. 

“When we first heard Offshores, we immediately fell in love with the tropical vibe. We decided to approach the remix through the lens of UK Garage and from there things fell quickly into place. Using a small loop from Koresma’s bell percussion melody as the foundation, we wrote new chords to bring a different perspective to the record. From there we were able to infuse the remix with our signature Gamelan bells, sounds from nature, and colorful analog synths.. In the end we successfully reimagined it into an immersive journey that we hope empowers the listener, draws their focus into nature, and inspires their imagination to take flight.” - Banyan

Offshores (Banyan) is the first single from the upcoming South Remixes EP. The original South EP is inspired by the ocean and the many things it offers us in life. In many cultures the sea provides food, recreation, and a means to travel. Having grown up with a strong connection to the sea, Koresma showcases the variety of events that have impacted his life in music form. From feeling the ocean ebb and flow, to riding waves, and flowing with the winds on a sailboat, there is nothing like being at the oceans doorstep.
