What started as me playing around with Logic Pro for the first time a year ago evolved into the most ambitious cover I've worked on yet. Had to release it before I ruined it with my lack of understanding of audio editing..........!

I was asked by illbringyoudown on youtube to compose music for a mini series called "Cat157E" a little while ago, and goodness, I was freakin' stoked ;u;   Inspirations/influences for the songs include Akira Yamaoka, Olafur Arnalds, and Yoko Kanno.

strange surroundings

if the piano line sounds familiar, that's because it's the same as the secondary pattern in "claw and fang." i like taking pieces of themes and making new  songs with them. the strings have some very hitoshi sakimoto-esque chords, and they reminded me of some of the music in vagrant story, so i actually used the name of one of the rooms in the undercity west for the song title.

Another track for "Cat157E!" This was actually a sort-of old composition that I never got around to finalizing but I had been meaning to. It has an air of suspense, with a crescendo for extra drama :)

last hours

i haven't even really started working on the story, but goodness is it fun to make arranges of the main theme (though it's only a small segment.) i took the piano solo part from "egress" and arranged it into its own theme. it's not finished, obv, but i started working on it between studying for exams and i actually forgot where i was and it was one of the most disorienting thing i've felt LOL.

EH so, I do covers and occasionally write music. I play a lot of instruments but am too lazy to get them set up so most of the stuff here is software instruments lol
