Hola Freaks!!! We are back and super excited to share the first look of the upcoming 'EP' release 'The Book of Lost Science' by 'Intellectual Bums'.
'The Intellectual Bums', another introspective fractal of Ulterior Motive crew is a collaboration project between Menterama and Saturnin. Having spent time trapped in a house in Blue Mountains which is primarily the land of the aboriginals of 'Dharug' nation, during the thick of the pandemic, creativity & expression was ever flowing & expanding. Upcoming release is a collection of some of the creations they made in that time. A special time of collaboration and connection. The creators would like to acknowledge the 'Dharug' people as the traditional owners of the land that has given them the energy, comfort, and inspiration for this musical journey.
The collaboration & co-creation of art is a highly unique and sacred thing. We want this 'EP' to be a tribute to the infinite potential of sacred connectivity of human beings with one another.

In the times of the Tang dynasty, lived a group of people that valued the natural flow of life over the rational thinking mind. They cared not for materialistic possessions but rather about understanding the mysteries of the world. Although shunned by many, their motivation to explain the in-explainable & figure out the unknown peaked regardless. These people were known as the Intellectual Bums.
Throughout the times of tapping into ancient knowledge, they realized that there was more to human potential than what everyone had believed.
They began collecting relics and tools found throughout history to form a manuscript that was meant only for the highly motivated. A collection of forgotten disciplines & rituals- now known as the Book of Lost Science.

This year marks 20 years of the Yata-Garasu project & with it, I wanted to share with you this very personal EP.

With this EP, I wanted to push my Emotionpsy & Animepsy to the absolute limits.
The past years have been a very hard period in my life, and I wanted to put all my feelings into this EP.
To me, making my music has always been like therapy in a way.

10 years of music and its was eminent we recycle and return to the roots of psychedelic night music, this time around with a derivation of the Pythagorean scale.
VA-Pythagorean is a musical tuning whose frequency relationship is based on the ratio 3 to 2. In a music world which is running and different styles do their appereance, Acidance will maintain the style that a tripping brain needs so it can start it's own trip into the 'New age of thinking'. Djan Onural, is a living being who loves nature and psychedelia. He plays different types of flutes, as well as several types of percussion.  
In 2009, the desire to escape from a certain routine that reflects the reality of this world came out. He discovered the Beat universe with Drum and Bass, then Techno. Very quickly, the urge to "feed" on carefully selected music becomes a necessity, and in 2010, he bought his first vinyl turntables and began to discover the world of beat-matching. 
From that moment he started collecting music and digging the knowledge from the encyclopedia of Forest/Dark Psy music history. He expends his horizons through different Forest families, meeting more and more small groups devoted to the same passion. He started mixing music for the Goa parties in neighborhood villages, and organize some small wild gathering.  

Some years ago, he became part of the little and totally Underground team called the ‘’Mantra Tribe System’’. Much older than all the other groups encountered before, he sees in them a real united family, with deep values towards the world of the dance floor, and of course, a musical orientation much more Old School, Darkpsy, and Forest. He becomes a storyteller for the team he admires from the very beginning of his journey.
In 2022, he become Label Dj for Visionary Shamanics Records. 

Its aim is to provide the right musical environment for travelers to enter a higher state of consciousness that allows them to touch their own essence and then access the hidden dimensions, inscribed in the human mind. 
He particularly likes having the chance to be able to synchronize his music with the elements and participate in the audiovisual show of the sunrise/sunset. 
His style of music is the result of his musical journey through the past 10 years. He likes to create turnarounds, changes of atmosphere and above all he has no musical limit. His devotion for psychedelic music is endless, and it is with hand on heart that he shares his favorite tracks.
