whewwww!!! this is my first track of 2019, and so much has changed from when i posted "g0tta hav3" a full year ago from today. i think my audience per se has grown a lot since that release, and also i've grown a lot as an artist/person as well. 

..... i have so many thoughts swirling around in my head right now and i really don't know how to articulate them all..... 

OK so firstly...let me talk abt the song a bit:
i rlly love this song a lot bc it is a blend of three of my favorite things ever; 90's r&b, house music, and nightcore :)
so this song in particular, is a gasoiid™ approved nxc edit of one of my FAVORITE r&b songs: Tamia - So Into You. i have so many childhood memories of my mom playing this song on the way to school or just around the house (on her burned r&b classix cd; kinda iconic tbh). i just love the emotion of this song and the instrumentation as well, and i KNEW that i had to pay homage to the original original song somehow. the haus edit i found l8r (courtesy again of odd mob hehe) and i just knew this edit had to become a thing. 
i'm very happy with the way this turned out, and I kept the long intros of the oddmob song in incase ppl wanted to mix this in a set or sumn.

Secondly, i think i should mention that with the release of this song i will have only ONE nxc left to release! thats both bittersweet and exciting at the same time i think. if some of you do not yet know though, i want to hopefully gear my account towards more of a pop aesthetic ... which means writing songs ... ORIGINAL music hehehehe :))))))
i have just been SOOOOOO inspired lately by artists like @itthatkid and @djhimera, and they have kinda (indirectly and directly) inspired me to also pursue avenues of music that i've always wanted to pursue, but never felt good enough to.
sooo yeah! i'm excited for that era of gasoiid, and I have been working on a couple of great songs w a handful of producers, and the goal is to put out at least a mini-ep by the end of this year!
this doesn't mean that i now all of the sudden hate nightcore or anything... but rather I am feeling a new surge of INSPIRATION w the coming of 2019 to pursue my artistic endeavors (whereas me in 2018 was very ready to give up on music in general and just focus on dj'ing/school-only 👎)
i want to hopefully try and keep the authenticity and aesthetic of my nightcores alive in my original works, only this time thru a new medium! 

I am SUPPPPERRRRR  excited to share this new side of me and my account with u guys, and i j want to say THANK U to everyone who has stuck around this long 4 being a part of my artistic journey (which essentially is j my escape from the irl world hehe)
