[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the seventh release of Launch Records. This time we have Samuel Xantos making his debut on Launch Records with his track, 'Lost'!

The song immediately starts with a vocal which also gives the tempo to the track, alongside the vocal we can hear an arp sound. After a while, the kick comes in together with some background voices. As we get closer to the drop the snares start to build up with the melody pluck making its way through the spectrum.

When the drop hits, a bouncy melody is taking place alongside the strong bassline. On top of that, the vocal is also present giving the track even more power. On the second part of the drops, more elements can be heard.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have Samuel Xantos on Launch.

Prince Paris and Castion team up for their debut track on Gemstone Records, ‘Right For Ya.’ Having both previously released multiple chart-topping tracks on Revealed Recordings, the two collaborators seamlessly transition to Gemstone with a pop-infused release powered by percussive instruments and melancholy melodies. 

Right For Ya starts with emotional vocals backed by atmospheric pianos and twinkling plucks. The breakdown progresses into subtle percussive drum hits which lead up to a melodic vocal drop supported by warm plucks, Caribbean inspired drum sequences, and pulsating bass patterns.  

Canadian Prince Paris, formerly part of the duo Paris & Simo, has garnered enormous momentum in just the last year since his rebranding; his recent tracks such as ‘Keep Me Close’ and ‘Come as You Are’ have both reached over a million plays on Spotify. Prince Paris has been supported by legends such as David Guetta, Tiesto, and of course, label boss Hardwell. Castion, an upcoming talent from Spain, has already released on major labels such as Spinnin’ Records, TWOLOUD’s Playbox, and Future House Music. He’s also received support from artists such as Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, and the Chainsmokers.
