For this chapter, we have the DJ set that Aa Sudd performed a few weeks ago at Espacio Perpendicular as part of the pre-show of the Sables Mouvants/Alpenglühen party. Aa Sudd, the German artist who is part of the Konsudd project alongside Konduku, delivered a wonderful ambient and downtempo set, perfectly suited for that afternoon gathering. Following this, we will enjoy Tevor Handa's DJ set, which was performed at the ambient cottage during the Perpendicular Festival in late May of this year. The artist from Seville presented a classic DJ set with a 90's chill-out vibe, skillfully combining various styles, much like the genre's pioneers such as Mixmaster Morris or Alex Patterson.

Our last DSS of 2023 comes from the Belgian city of Antwerp. Yogg is known for his unique sound design, impact cuts of body-slamming techno with deep synths and sleek rhythms. He released on various labels such as Non Series, Illegal Alien Records, 30D Records, Counterchange, and others.

For DSS 079, he took a different approach, taking down the tempo and starting with some dub related tracks, building towards UK influenced sound to conclude the mix with trippy and breaky techno.

Somewhere between ambient and deep techno, this mix was recorded in an artist's studio (Sophie Bocher) the 23th of march, during workshop open days (« Les Portes ouvertes des ateliers ») in Malakoff. This improvisation was influenced by the artists' work (Sophie Bocher & Marc Etche) and this beautiful studio (22th floor !).
