Shiv - Heavy Water (SHEE Remix)

Hi guys, I wanted to release the original demo for my song 'By Now' which I wrote in January 2020 and released in January 2022. So much has happened since then and it means so much for it to be reborn in so many ways when people discover it for the first time. The produced version has kind of suddenly started growing again so I revisited the demo and felt so emotional because of how raw the vocals were. I wrote it with my friend (also an amazing artist called whoisdays) who gave me a space to be so open and honest about what I was going through. I wrote the lyrics on a piece of paper and went into the booth to record, kind of making melodies up as I went along. You can especially hear that in the middle 8 section, which we didn't end up using, but I hope you enjoy this version. Flaws and all. Fia xx
